Elisha M. Phlipot, age 42, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 10, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on October 23, 1979 to Ellis and Penny (Johnson) Boyd in Bryan, Ohio. Elisha was a 1998 graduate of Ayersville High School. On September 22, 2006 she married Dean Phlipot, who survives.

Elisha worked for Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon, Ohio. Elisha was a wonderful mother and loved her children above all else. She liked to draw and read, and was truly a coffee "addict". Elisha collected bat trinkets and was an animal lover, especially her dog Dixon. Elisha will be sadly missed by her husband, Dean Phlipot of Defiance, her children, Zackery and Kaitlyn, her father, Ellis J. Boyd of Bryan, OH, her mother, Penny Michael of Defiance, her stepfather, Craig Bloom, and her best friend and sister at heart, Krista Fackler. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her cousin, Jason Breininger. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Terra Gorrell officiating. Memorials are suggested to her children, c/o Dean Phlipot.
