Eileen M. Rohlf, 76, of Defiance, passed away on  Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home in Defiance.

She was born on November 3, 1941 to John and Dorothy (Degler) Zinser in Defiance. On April 8, 1961 she married Philip Rohlf, who resides in Defiance. Eileen was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance. Her life centered around her family, and she was so proud of her children and grandchildren for all their accomplishments.

Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving husband of  56 years, Philip Rohlf of Defiance, three sons: Steven (Diane) Rohlf of Monroeville, IN, Jeff (Tami) Rohlf of Defiance, and Daniel Rohlf of Defiance, daughter, Heidi (Tim) Keller of Delta, OH, six grandchildren: Nick (Jeni) Rohlf, Elizabeth (Mark) Thomas, Jamie (Darren) Osmun, Kaylee (Chase) Williams, Victoria Rohlf, and Marissa Rohlf, 1 great-grandchild: Hailey Rohlf, brother, Walter (Ann) Zinser, and sister, Esther Wigent, both of Reading, MI.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Rohlf-Mast, sister, Rose Rowe, and two brothers in infancy.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, and also for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Thursday.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21 at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, with Rev. Donald L. Luhring and Rev. Matthew Schiemann officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Stephen Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the church.
