Eileen Hohenbrink age 94 died Friday August 21, 2015 at 7:45PM at Vancrest of Holgate, Ohio. She was born June 11, 1921 to Albert and Clara (Laubenthal) Giesige in New Bavaria, Ohio. In August 1939 Eileen married Bert Hohenbrink at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a graduate of Holgate High School. She is survived by her son Edward (Shirley) Hohenbrink of Defiance and her daughter Linda (Jim) Bernicke of Napoleon, Ohio. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bert and two sisters, Freida Kroeckel and Cecelia Tule. Friends may call at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home from 9:00 - 10:00AM on Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Eileen at St. Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:30AM. Suggested memorials are to Henry County Hospice.
