Edward Sewell Buell age 76 of Defiance went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He was born on May 29, 1941 in Pineville (Bell County) Kentucky to Joe and Della (Carroll) Buell. Ed was a graduate of Paulding High School. He worked at the Campbell Soup Company from where he retired, after 28 years of service. He was a member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Junction, Ohio. He was also a life member of the National Rifle Association. Ed loved to travel with family and especially enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He is survived by: Brothers: Murphy (Betty) Buell - Middlesboro, Ky Alden (Star) Buell - Defiance, Ohio Joie Denver (Patrica) Buell - Defiance, Ohio Kenneth Ray (Nancy) Buell - Sherwood, Ohio Hubert (Maxine) Buell - Oakwood, Ohio Sisters: Christine (Vic) Smith - Defiance, Ohio Vandetta (Ray) Smith - Defiance, Ohio Genetta Ross - Defiance, Ohio He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: Brothers - Russell and Jack Buell Sisters - Genella Smith and Ann Neal Visitation for Edward will be Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00pm and Friday from Noon until 2:00pm at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Rev Denny Hunter and Rev Jessie Buell will jointly preach a Funeral Service for Edward at 2:00pm Friday, at the Lawson-Roessner-Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview memory Gardens of Defiance, Ohio. Suggested Memorials are to The Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church.
