Earl R. Gosnell, Sr.,  58, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016  in Defiance, Ohio.

He was born on May 19, 1958 to John and Erline (Bentley) Gosnell in Phoenix, Arizona. On May 8, 1998 he married Cheryl (Nelson) Gosnell, who resides in Defiance.

Earl loved his career as a truck driver for Marten Transport, and has received the one million mile driver award.

Earl will be greatly missed by his loving spouse of 18 years, Cheryl Gosnell of Defiance, mother Erline Joan Gosnell of Pendelton, Oregon, sons, Josh Gosnell, David Blake, Earl R. Gosnell, Jr., daughters, Angel Davis, Jennifer Gosnell, and Samantha Hobbs, grandchildren,  Jonathon, Ethan, Kennedy, Dustin, Alexis, Kali Jo, Joseph, Preston, Jordan, Frankie, one great-grandchild on the way, sister Susie Edes, and  brother Robert Gosnell.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Gosnell, and granddaughter, Ashley Blake.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.
