E. Charles (Charlie) Carroll E. Charles (Charlie) Carroll, age 50, of Defiance, Oh , passed away Friday morning, September 5th, in his home. Charlie was born in Defiance, Ohio on September 11, 1957, he was the son of the late Earl W. and Mary K. (Thrasher) Carroll who survives him of Defiance,Ohio He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance. He was the husband of Lori "Lisa" (Seal) Carroll whom he married November 26, 1994. He worked as a policeman for the City of Defiance for 23 years retiring in 2006. as a lieutenant. He was the President of the Maumee Valley Archaeological Society and a member of the Archaeological Society of Ohio. an Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America. A graduate of Defiance High School. Besides his wife surviving are a Son: Samuel Stephen Carroll of at home 3 Sister(s): Catherine Morris of Crown Pointe, Ind., Barbara (Tom) Kajfasz of Defiance, Oh, Laura (Russell) Wagner of Baltimore, MD a Brother: Thomas(Cheryll) Carroll of Pemberville, Oh. and his mother of Defiance. Preceded in death by his father. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Mary Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. at 11:00 A:M on Monday, September 8th, with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 2-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. where a 7:30 P:M Vigil Service will be conducted Sunday . Interment at Riverview Memory Gardens -Defiance county, Oh.
