Douglas R. Federinko, 41, of Defiance passed away on Saturday January 31, 2015 at home.  He was born on December 28, 1973 in Tampa, Florida to George R. "Bob" and Michele (Mignot) Federinko.

Doug was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Defiance and a 1992 graduate of Defiance High School.

Surviving him are his parents, daughters Annastacia Federinko and Aleksandra Federinko both of Springfield, Missouri; brother Brad (Laura) Federinko of Bluffton, South Carolina; and special aunts and uncles, Becky (Sam) Harris of Holgate and Emilie (Mike) Polenik of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Steve and Margaret Federinko and Charles and Joan (Ganoe) Mignot.

Doug's quiet intellect and sensitivity often placed him on "the road less traveled."
His genial nature brought him many acquaintances and sent him to many destinations in his short stay on Earth.
We pray he has finally found the peace he sought. He will be missed.
