Dorothy H. Bachellor Dorothy H. Bachellor, age 89, of Defiance, passed away Friday, April 17th, 2009 in her home. She was born in Defiance, Ohio on July 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Rose (Wilhelm) Mack She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, and past member of the Christian Mothers and Altar Society and the Catholic Youth Organization. She helped with fund raising for the Cancer and Diabetes Associations. A member of Auglaize Village. Dorothy had worked for the Rosenberger Drug Store, Steinberger Stationary Store and a Women Ordnance Worker (WOW) at Zellers. She was a graduate of St. John Catholic School and Defiance High School. Surviving are four daughters: Helene Fillman of Thermopolis, Wyoming, Celeste Marroquin of Defiance, Greta (Tom) Porter of Defiance, Lynn (Dan) Moss of Mark Center,Oh. son: Kurt (Ann) Bachellor of Defiance. Sisters: Kathleen Coffman of Bowling Green and Patricia Lang of Sturgis, Mich. a brother: Richard Mack of Swanton, Oh. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother Frederick Mack, sisters: Rosemary Mack, Rita Nagley, son in laws: Mike Fillman and Bill Fillman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. John Catholic Church, at 10:00 A:M on Monday, April 20th, with Father Todd Kummerer and Father Alan Fillman officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 2-8 and Monday an hour before services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. A rosary services will be at 7:00 P:M Sunday. Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
