Doris E. Ehlinger, 79, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born on August 25, 1937 to Carl and Velma (Roehrig) Miller in Defiance. On July 7, 1957 she married Albert "Bud" Ehlinger, who preceded her in death on May 12, 2017.

Doris will be greatly missed by her daughters, Kristina (Angel Wetzel) Coffey and Vickie (Karl) Brace, sons, Al (Kathy) Ehlinger, Jr., and Doug Ehlinger, 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and sister, Sharon (Carl) Vore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Albert "Bud" Ehlinger, Sr.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Deb Miller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
