Doris J. Lawson, 64, of Defiance, entered heaven on Monday, April 13, 2015 with Jesus by her side, at the CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.

She was born on June 5, 1950 to Burl and Dorothy (Wimberly) Lawson in Hartville, Missouri.

Doris is survived by her brothers; Jimmie Lawson of Defiance, Robert Lawson of Bryan, Guy Lawson of Oakwood, and Jack Lawson of Defiance, sisters; Onita Bussing, Phyllis Bussing, Freda Fleetwood, and Carol Medina, all of Defiance, 22 Nieces and Nephews, and 76 Great Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Dorothy Lawson.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Paul Meyer officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.
