Donald F. Weber Donald F. Weber, 87, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at 5:00 A:M, Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at Brookdale Nursing Care Center in Portage, Mich. He was born in Defiance county on March 8, 1922, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Helen S. (Goller) Weber. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Defiance, and was a CCD teacher for 5 years. Don married Mary P. Gallup in 1954 and she died Sept. 8, 2000 . He married Jean Maguire in 1947 and she died in 1952. He was employed as a computer operator at Dinner Bell Foods for 27 years retiring in 1985. He was a Defiance College graduate. Surviving are two sons: David (Linda) Weber of Tinley Park, Illinois and Laurence (Charlotte) Weber MD of Kalamazoo, Mich. Five brothers: Dr. Norbert (Mary) Weber of Palos Park, IL, Francis Weber of Ayersville, Christian (Ann) Weber of Elkhart, IN, Roger (Ann) Weber of Maumee, Eugene (Marilyn) Weber of Findlay. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Preceded in death by two brothers, Wilfred "Bill" and Gerald Weber: and a sister, Marjorie Steingass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon Tuesday June 2, 2009, in St. John Catholic Church, with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call 3-5 and 7-9 Monday at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, where there will be a vigil service at 8:30 P:M Monday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
