Don J. Snyder
Don J. Snyder, 66, of Defiance, died peacefully at his home Friday evening,
March 20th, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Don was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 26, 1948, he was the son
of the late Don C. Snyder and Luella (Niece) who survives him of Defiance.
He married Deborah Wonderly who survives, on September 22, 1972.
Don was a graduate of Defiance College with a Bachelors of Science degree.
Don was the Deputy Registrar at the Ohio Department of Motor Vehicles in
Paulding County for the past 10 years. He was the former owner and operator
of Duraclean over 15 years and had worked for Chief Super Market over 27
years. Don was an active and devoted member of St. John's Catholic Church, a
church lector, Eucharistic minister and lay distributor for the home bound,
member of the Mother Theresa Respect for Life, Knights of Columbus and the
Secular Order of the Carmelites.
Don will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Deb, of 42 years.

Oh., Jacob (Krista) Snyder of Defiance, Jaclyn Snyder of Chardon, Oh.,
Justin Snyder of Defiance, Jeanine Snyder of Garfield Heights, Oh., James
Snyder of Rockford, Illinois, Jude (Kenisha) Snyder of Defiance.
He is also survived by
sisters: Rebecca (Mark) Saman of Defiance, Pamela Venglarick of
Waterville, Oh.
brother: Chuck Snyder of Defiance and 12 grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by 4 children who died in infancy; Donna, Terri,
Tony, Angel and a grandchild Taylor and his father Don.
Family and friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Monday, March 23, at
Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home with a Divine Mercy Chaplet service at 3:00
p.m. Monday and a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Monday. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 24 at St. John's
Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Suggested memorials
are to St. John Catholic Church or Hospice.
