(Grant) Westrick
February 10, 1970 – August 28, 2025
Dianna (Grant) Westrick, age 55 of Cecil, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at The Cleveland Clinic.
She was born in Defiance, Ohio to Ronald and Janie (Gallant) Grant on February 10, 1970. On December 30, 1992 she married the love of her life, Scott Westrick, who survives. They met in 1987 at Burger King where they worked together. They have been together ever since they went to Prom.
Dianna was a life member of AmVets #1991, Moose Lodge #2094 and Women of the Moose, where she received the highest honor as College of Regents, being a past Senior Regent. Dianna was employed at Paulding Dairy Queen. She loved the Great Smoky Mountains and enjoyed all the time spent there with Scott. Dianna truly loved her husband Scott and spending time with her children, grandchildren (who called her Nana), family and friends. She loved her Green Bay Packers!
Dianna will be sadly missed by her loving husband Scott Westrick of Cecil, her son Austin "Louie" Westrick of Defiance, daughter Audrey (Drew) Sifuentes of Oakwood, her grandchildren; Brantlee, Ariel, Luna, Ella and Ezekiel, and her father Ronald Grant of Defiance. She also leaves behind her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother Janie Grant, maternal grandparents Leon and Vera Gallant, paternal grandparents Darl and Violet Grant, aunts and uncles; Tom Gallant, Shari Gallant, Shirley Deitrick, and Mike Volkert, and cousin Steven Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 3rd at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Fr. Kevin McGraw officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral and medical expenses.
