Diane M. Weber, age 67 of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at The Laurels of Defiance. She was born on August 27, 1954 to Glenn and Rena (Clark) Coressel in Defiance, Ohio. Diane earned her Associated Degree from Northwest State Community College. She was a member of Defiance AmVets #1991. Diane enjoyed collecting owls, reading, doing crossword puzzles, crafting and painting. She was always willing to help others, and she loved her dogs, especially Chloe. Diane is survived by her sons; Jason (Jeni) Burkhart of Sherwood, OH, and Jeremy Burkhart of Bryan, OH, and her grandchildren; Ellcyee, Aylla, Oliver and Iolla Burkhart. She also leaves behind her sisters, Ginny (Dean) Layman of Ney, OH and Elaine (Bill) Warren of Defiance, her brother Chuck Coressel of Indianapolis, IN, and her former spouse, Mike Burkhart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Carol Florence, Sue Keegan, her infant sister, Patty Coressel, and husband, Mark Weber. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, Ohio.A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Due to CDC guidelines, if you are not fully vaccinated, a mask is required to enter the funeral home, and our lounge area will remain closed. Memorials are suggested to the family.
