Diane S. Scott Diane S. Scott, 57, of Defiance, passed away Tuesday evening, May 1st, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on August 13, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Justice and Mary (Kasson) Justice-Skiver. Diane married George H. Scott Jr. March 29, 1974, who survives. She worked as the activities director at Brookview Health Care Center, was a nurses aid and a graduate of Defiance High School. Diane will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 38 years, George: daughters: Brandy (Robert) Race of Marion, Ohio, Kelli Scott of Toledo and her fiancé Jason Mussery. sister: Karen (Steve) Roehrig of Defiance brother: Gary Justice of Dupont, Oh. three grandchildren: Brooke, Brody and Bristol and her beloved dog Darla May. Preceded in death by her parents. Friends are invited to call from 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 4, at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance. Private services for the family will be at Lawson-Roessner, Saturday, with Rev. Adam Tracy officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
