Denise M. Eitniear, 47, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the CHP Defiance Area Hospice Inpatient Center.

She was born on March 10, 1969 to Gary and Nadine (Cameron) Reed in Defiance, OH.  On September 8, 1999 she married Francis Eitniear, who survives.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Defiance, and a graduate of Defiance High School.

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Francis Eitniear of Defiance, OH, 3 Step-sons, Scott (Brenda) Eitniear of Bryan, OH, Vincent (Nicole) Eitniear of Defiance, OH, and Ryan (Samantha) Eitniear of Delta, OH, 10 Step Grandchildren, a brother, Gary Reed II of Defiance, OH, a Step-brother, Steven Reed of Defiance, OH, Father and Step Mother, Gary (Donna) Reed of Defiance, OH, and her mother, Nadine Reed of Defiance, OH.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at 11:00 am in the funeral  home, with Pastor Timothy G Reynolds, officiating.

The family requests for friends and family to dress casually for Denise's visitation and service.

Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Area Hospice Inpatient Center.
