Denise  A. Ankney, 61, of Defiance, went home to be with the Lord on Friday,  October 21, 2016 in her son's residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 3, 1954 to Herbert and Francis (Hiles) Myers at Wauseon, OH.

Denise  is survived by her father, Herbert Myers, 3 sons, Martin (Michelle) Paxton of Napoleon, OH, Thomas Ramsey of Columbia Falls, MT, and Patrick (Christa) Weber of West Unity, OH, a daughter, Angela Burkholder of Defiance, 9 grandchildren, 3 brother, Herbert Myers, Jr., James Myers, and Dennis Myers, 3 stepbrothers, Michael Budd, Buddy Myers, and Stanley Myers, 2 stepsisters, Lori Aganon and Kimberly Wright, and a Special Friend, William Sponsler.

She was preceded in death by mother and a grandson, Colton James Ramsey.
