Debra Lynn Vargo, age 63 of Defiance, peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side on Tuesday evening, April 26, 2022. She was born on May 10, 1958 to Hubert and Elta (Ream) Hancock in Defiance, Ohio. On November 28, 1989 she married Timothy Vargo, who survives. Debra was a faithful member of  Ney Church of God. She was a kind and compassionate person and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Debra will be sadly missed by her family and good friends. Debra is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Vargo, her children, Tammy Bechtol and David Bechtol, both of Defiance, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sister, Betty Siler, and her brothers; Reid, Jerry, Loren, and Ned Hancock. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
