Deborah "Deb" Brenner Zeller, age 71, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away on May 11, 2026. She was born May 14, 1954, to the late Alfred and Alfreda (Boff) Brenner in Defiance, Ohio, and was the sixth of seven children: Theresa Bortz (Melvin), the late Eugene Brenner (Jean), the late Carolyn Mitchell, Mary Ann Buchman (Martin), David Brenner, Sr. (Patricia) and Stephen Brenner, Sr.

Deborah graduated from Defiance College and taught elementary art education. She is survived by her spouse of 40 years, Mark Zeller, along with three sons, Matthew (Amanda), David (Maria) and Andrew (Alicia), and seven grandchildren, Charlotte, Isaac, Maddie, Audrey, Greta, Oliver and Benjamin. Deborah was selflessly and unwaveringly devoted to her family. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Schaffer Funeral Home, 529 Jefferson Avenue, Defiance, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. and proceed to Riverview Memory Gardens.
