Deanna K. Basquez Deanna K. Basquez, 64, of Oakwood, Ohio passed away suddenly Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at her home. She was born in Findlay, Ohio on April 23, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Judith (Montgomery) Singer. On May 7, 2011 she married Philip Basquez. He survives her. Since 1995, Deanna had worked at G.M. Powertrain for the past 22 years and had just retired this year. Deanna enjoyed gardening, crafts, fishing and her family. Surviving besides her husband, Philip, are daughters: Traci (Jake) DeMoss of Payne, Margarita Basquez of Oakwood, Teresa Basquez of Jewell, Carmen (Dan) Kasmider of Monclova, son: Shea (Janie) Sexton of Defiance, sisters: Brenda (Ronnie) Cheney of Ada, Marla Heyman of Verona, New Jersey brothers: Eric (Susan) Singer of Virginia Beach, VA, Dennis Singer of Germany, Bill Singer of Illinois, Phillip (Becky) Singer of Pennsylvania, Deanna is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25th.
