Dawn Elaine Murphy, 53, of Toledo, passed away on  Friday, September 12, 2014 in Defiance County as the result of an auto accident.

She was born on January 13, 1961 to Elwood and Karen (Keating) Emenhiser in Auburn, IN.   On December 12, 1987 she married Kevin Murphy.

Dawn & her husband, Kevin, owned and operated The Kid's Stop in Toledo.  She loved spending time with her family, especially Kevin, her sons and grandchildren and her four-legged friends..

Dawn is survived by her husband, Kevin, sons, Jason Burley, (Fiance'e, Dani Collins) of Auburn, IN, Jeremy (Rachel) Burley of Hamilton, IN, Ryan Burley of Butler, IN, grandchildren, Taylor, Piersten, Brooklyn & Jackson Burley, siblings, Steve (Genevieve) Emenhiser of Defiance, OH, Coleen (Mike) Szyskowski of Toledo, OH, Lesa (Rick) Smith of Leo, IN, Joseph (Denise) Everetts, III of Xenia, OH, and Elizabeth (Rick) Wilson of Annville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.  All other services will be private.

Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
