David M. "Crocky" Derringer, 55, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at his residence in Defiance, OH. He was born on October 21, 1959 to Lee and Jacqueline (Lindeman) Derringer in Defiance, OH.  On March 20, 1993 he married Jamie Worman, who survives. David worked at Johns Manville as a Crew Chief.  Crocky was a former member of the Defiance Moose Lodge, an avid fisherman, Hot Wheels collector, and enjoyed motorcycles. David is survived by his loving spouse, Jamie  Derringer of Defiance, OH, 4 sons, Scott Zeller, Zachary Derringer, Elijah Derringer all of Defiance, OH, and David  Williams of West Carrolton, OH, a daughter, Desiree Derringer of Defiance, OH, a brother, Paul Derringer of Defiance, OH,and a sister, Karen Derringer of Stryker, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Jacqueline Derringer. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 11:00 am at the funeral  home, with Rev. Janet Strickland, officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio. Memorials are suggested to the Wishes of the family.
