Daniel E. Tressler, 64, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 7, 2018 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance. He was born on August 22, 1953 to Kenneth and Naomi (Clark) Tressler in Bryan, Ohio. On June 4, 1994 he married Tracey (Babinger) Tressler, who resides in Defiance. Danny was a member of Defiance Moose #2094, and was a life member of AMVETS #1991. He worked at Allied Molded Plastics in Bryan,  Tressler's Backhoe Service in Defiance, and Oldcastle Precast in Napoleon. Danny loved John Deere Tractors, fishing, and working outdoors. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Danny is survived by his loving wife of  24 years, Tracey Tressler of Defiance, son, Marcus Tressler of Murray, KY, daughters, Lori Tressler of Defiance, and  Melissa (Dominick) Proshek-Kertesz of Toledo, OH, one grandchild, and sister, Pam Tressler of Defiance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kim Tressler. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Vincent Cantu officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family.
