Daniel R. Moreno, age 60 of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital. He was born on July 21, 1963 to the late John Salinas and Josie Moreno in Defiance, Ohio. Daniel worked at Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon for 15 years. He was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Daniel will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends. Daniel is survived by his children, Ashley (Zac) Andres of Montpelier, OH and Cotey Nichols of Florida, his granddaughter Naddy Andres, his brothers, Russ and Robert, and his sisters, Tomasa, Julie and Jody, and Daniel's partner Christina Buehrer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Cindy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Restoration Tabernacle in Defiance. There will be no services. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
