Daniel M. Mansfield, 51, of Sherwood, passed away on  Monday, September 22, 2014 at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.

He was born on May 15, 1963 to Walter and Judy (Manley) Mansfield in Defiance.  On September 26, 2009 he married  Mary (Yoh) Mansfield.

Daniel was a truck driver. .He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Defiance and the VFW of Paulding.  Daniel was an avid OSU Buckeye fan.  He enjoyed watching  NASCAR racing, especially  #24, Jeff Gordon.  He also enjoyed horse racing. .

Daniel is survived by his wife, Mary, step-brother, Robert (Fern) Keys, Jr. of Paulding, Mother & Step-father, Judy (Robert, Sr.) Keys of Sherwood, sisters, Margaret Roddy of Defiance, Loretta (Fred) Keys of Hillsdale, MI, Deb (Charlie) Throup of Lucas Grove, GA, dog, Kazue, and cats, Binki & Sissy Kitty.

He was preceded in death by his father.

There will be no visitation or services.
