Daniel A. Haley, Sr., 60, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

He was born on April 26, 1957 to Robert and Mary (Kent) Haley in Defiance. On April 25, 1984  he married Annabell (Fraley) Haley, who resides in Defiance.  Daniel enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing cards. He loved spending time with his grandkids.

Daniel will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Annabell Haley of Defiance, sons, Daniel Haley, Jr. of Napoleon, Donald Haley of Bryan, daughter, Danielle (Timothy) Keith of Wauseon, 5 grandchildren, brothers, Robert (Kay) Haley of Tennessee, George Knapp of Pennsylvania, Randy (Becky) Haley of Lima, OH, and sister, Rosemary (Tom) Evans of Hicksville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Robert Haley.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Deb Miller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
