Daniel Lee Gill, 76, of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio passed away on  July 5, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 31, 1938 to Irvin and Kathlynn (Lyons) Gill in Metz, IN. He graduated from Stryker High School. Daniel worked as a Laborer for Franks Sawmill. Daniel is survived by his loving children, Douglas (Yolanda) Gill of Ridgeville Corners, OH, son, Rodney (Candace) Gill of Napoleon, OH, grandchildren, Daniel A. Gill, Nikita King, Bryan Mengerink, & Andrew Mengerink, 4 Great-grandchildren, brother, Michael Gill of Pioneer, Ohio, and sister, Sondra (Mel) Pegorch of Montpelier, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce E. (Greutman) Gill, and brother, Ronald Gill. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 1:00 pm at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. Russell Greutman officiating.
