Daniel Lee Boff, 36, of Wauseon, passed away on  December 28, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born on December 30, 1977 to Roger and Elizabeth (Walter) Boff in Defiance, Ohio. Daniel was a 1996 graduate of Fairview High School. He received his Associates Degree from ITT Tech, and worked as a Service Tech for Diebold.  On October 10, 2009 he married Sara (Wightman) Boff.

He loved listening to ESPN Radio and gaming. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and University of Michigan football. When Daniel would come home from work, the entire weekend would be spent playing indoors and outdoors with his three boys. His family was the center of his universe.

Daniel is survived by his loving spouse Sara, father, Roger L Boff, Defiance, sons, Caleb, Austin, and Isaiah, brother, David (Hope) Boff of Van Wert, sister, Dena (Timothy) Shafer of Defiance, father & mother-in-law, Daniel and Sheila Wightman of Angola, Indiana, sister-in-law Michelle Wightman, 7 Nieces and Nephews, and 4 Great-Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Janet (Walter) Boff, grandparents, Charles and Annabelle Boff, and Joseph and Viola Walter.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2015, with a vigil service being  held at 2:00 pm, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. John Catholic Church, with Fr. Todd Dominique, officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverview Memory Gardens.
