Daniel Alvarado, 56, of Defiance passed away  on Friday January 30, 2015 in Defiance.  He was born to Jose and Martha (Crouse) Alvarado, Sr. on September23, 1958 in Lima, Ohio.

He was a loving father and brother.

Daniel is survived by two daughters Tasha and Martina Alvarado both of Paulding; siblings Ana Hernandez of Defiance, Macy Alvarado of California, Jose (Barbara)Alvarado, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Rebecca (Ben) Montgomery of Tennessee, Patricia (Marty) Carty of Sunbury, Ohio, Steven (Diane) Alvarado of Celina, Ohio, Julian Alvarado, Sr. of Defiance, Juliana (Kieth) Lepper, of Defiance, Teresa (Brent) Grubb of Defiance, Timothy (Tammy) Alvarado of Defiance, Samuel (Olivia) Alvarado of Napoleon, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Gary and Terry Alvarado.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 4, 2015 from 6 - 8pm at the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.  A memorial service will be held Thursday February 5, 2015 at 11am at the Restoration Tabernacle Church, Defiance with Pastor Janet Strickland officiating.
