Dalia R Cremar, 74, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at The Laurel's of Defiance, OH. She was born on December 29, 1940 to Hilario and Amelia (Alvarado) Rodriquez in Mercedes, Texas.  Dalia was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and playing bingo. She was a member of St John's Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio. Dalia is survived by her son, Lucas (Kimberly) Cremar, III of Hicksville, Ohio.  Also surviving are 6 granddaughters; Priscilla (William)Mendoza, Danielle (Miguel) Trevino, Sierra Hatchett, Taylor Birkhimer, Jenna Cremar, Donika Cremar and 1 grandson, Diego Cremar as well as 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, one brother, and one daughter. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015, 11:00 am at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Father Todd Dominique, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio. Memorials are suggested to Relay for Life; American Diabetes Association or CHP Hospice Inpatient Center, Defiance, Ohio.
