Cynthia Ann Holifield, 60, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1958 to John and Shelby (Blevins) Black in Defiance, Ohio. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo. Spending time with her family was always her priority. Cynthia will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Christy Hoyt, Jackie (Jose) Concepcion, and Misti Cook, all of Defiance. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, Sharon Grond and Sheila Black, two brothers, John Black and  Joe Black, and her close companion, Steve Dusseau. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons Jacob and Johnathon, and granddaughter Sierra. Her family is hosting a Celebration of Life for Cynthia on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at The Eagles in Defiance. Memorials are suggested to the family.
