Corey A. Speiser Corey A. Speiser, 83, of Defiance, passed away Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Cecil, OH on January 6, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Vera (Ball) Kline. Corey was a a 1952 graduate of Sherwood-Delaware High School. She had worked as a travel agent at Rainbow Travel, worked at the Garden Patch, Lincoln Life Co. in Ft. Wayne, Syncro Tech. in Edgerton and the Fifty Corp. in Bryan. She was a Master Gardener, an artist and Hospice volunteer. She will be missed by her significant other Marvin Hire, Sons: James (Margo) Gineman of Columbus, OH, Robin (Judy) Gineman of Rockville, Indiana, Gregory Gineman of Wilmington, NC Daughter Angela Gineman of Holgate. Sisters: Shirley Grant of West Unity, OH. Mildred Hintz of Gaylord, MI and a brother Robert Kline of Defiance. Four grandchildren: Christie (Eric) Thein, Ian (Dawn) Gineman, Shannon (Chad) Verba, Ashley Gineman and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son Mark Gineman, grandson Marjoe Gineman, husband James Gineman, husband John Speiser, sisters: Jean Schlosser, Linda Gorsuch and half brother Jack Keezer. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, January 10 in the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Lawson-Roessner with Pastor Jerry Lewis officiating. Burial will be Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, OH.
