Obituary

Clyde L. Riley Clyde L. Riley, 85, of Defiance, OH passed away Friday. October 24, 2015 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Oakwood, OH on March 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Harry L. and Ada B. (Guilliam) Riley. Clyde was a member of First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. In 1958 he married Louise (Sutley) Riley and she survives. He worked as a cement mason at Baker Schindler Contracting for for 42 years. Clyde will be greatly missed by his wife Louise, three sons: Larry (Marie) Riley of Antioch, Calif., Greg Riley of Hamilton, Alabama, Jeff (Lori) Riley of LaGrange, Ind. 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Lewis Riley, five sisters, Mildred Trindle, Florence Wagner, Beatrice Wheeler, Ruby Clemens and Maxine Proxmire. Private graveside services will be at at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Tim Yazell officiating. At the family's request there will be no visitation. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
