Cleto Aganon Jr. Cleto Aganon Jr., 72, of Defiance, passed away Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 at Defiance Regional Medical Center E/R. He was born in Manila, Philippines, on December 27, 1946, he was the son of the late Cleto and Narcissa (Flores) Aganon. He was a member of Family Christian Center for many years and currently attended Xperience Church in Defiance. He served in the U.S. Navy. He married Peggy (Alameida) Aganon on Nov. 26, 1978. He worked as a cook at area restaurants including AMVETS, the Kettenring Country Club, Bob Evans, Applebee's, Eppi's and the Black Lantern. Cleto enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, camping, family time and baby-sitting for his grand kids. He will be missed by his wife Peggy, daughter Melissa Aganon, sons: Anthony (Lori) Aganon, Joshua (Christina) Aganon and Matthew Aganon all of Defiance sister Nancy (Paul) Lakin of Hawaii, brother George (Aida) Aganon of Hawaii. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Lani Aganon, Keirra Aganon, Marley Doster, Savannah Doster, Tate Sharp and Ikaika Aganon. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service to celebrate Clete's Life will be held 11:00, Monday, June 17, 2019 at Family Christian Center 1832 E. Second St. Defiance, OH.
