Clayton W. Clemens Clayton W. Clemens, age 69, of Defiance, Oh , passed away at 6:02 P:M , Saturday, December 6th, 2008 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Born in Putnam County, Ohio on August 22, 1939, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Kirkendal) Clemens He was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Clayton married Catherine (Burkhart) Clemens and she died July 21, 2008. He worked at Defiance Metal Products and had also worked at the Campbell Soup Co. Surviving are two daughter(s): Debra Clemens of Defiance and Mary (Danny) Roehrig of Defiance. Son: John Clemens of Defiance. Brother: Joseph (Evelyn) Clemens Jr. of Defiance, Oh and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 10th, with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2-9 and an hour before services Wednesday at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home where there will be a rosary service on Tuesday at 7:00 P:M Entombment will be at Riverview Memory Gardens cemetery. Suggested memorials are for Masses or the Donor's Choice.
