Christopher W. Rassenfoss, age 65 of Holland, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Mercy Hospital of Perrysburg. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on June 17, 1960 to the late William and Eleanor (Fisher) Rassenfoss. Christopher was a 1979 graduate of Ayersville High school. He enjoyed working at Lowe's in Defiance for several years. He lived a very full and independent life and always had a smile to share. He enjoyed crosswords, Sodoku, and maps to follow his family during their travels. Christopher is survived by his devoted brother David (Diane) Rassenfoss of Holland, OH, his nephew Jack Rassenfoss of Holland, OH, and sister-in-law, Paula Rassenfoss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Rassenfoss. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. John Catholic Church in Defiance. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. David Cirata officiating. Christopher will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Autism Society of NW Ohio.
