Charlotte L. Dockery Charlotte L. Dockery, 65, of Defiance, passed away Sunday, December 11th, 2016 peacefully at at her home with her devoted husband by her side. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on January 20, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Lois (Shock) Hoover. Charlotte graduated from Lakota High School in 1969. On March 6, 1971 she married Charlie Dockery She was employed as the Activities Director at Twin Rivers Nursing Home for over 20 years, retiring in 2013. A wonderful loving wife, mother and grandma who loved caring for people. She loved working with crafts, working outdoors in her flower beds, listening to her husband and sons play music and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her husband Charlie Dockery of Defiance, sons: Chad Dockery of Defiance and Colby (Shayne) Dockery of Fremont. sisters: Janice St Clair of Arizona, Shirley Anise of Arizona, Marie Hoover of Defiance brother: Dave Hoover of Missouri, sister in laws; Oline, Joyce, Kathy and Merline. and 5 grandchildren; Cole, Chelsea, Calee, Wyatt and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George Hoover and Chuck Hoover and a sister Marlene Chaney. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 15th, with Rev. Marvin Dockery officiating. Visitation is Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and Thursday 10-11 a.m. and hour prior to services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Poplar Ridge Cemetery.
