Charline A. Miller, age  77 of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 20, 2022 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on January 26, 1945 to the late Raymond and Coletta (Lindeman) Bruns in Lima, Ohio. In April, 1966 she married Larry Miller, who preceded her in death in 2012.

Charline worked for several years at Johns Manville in Defiance. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and treasured her time spent with her grandchildren. Charline was very generous, she had a heart of gold and was always helping others. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Charline is survived by her daughters; Melissa (Dewey Jr.) Lusk of Defiance, and Tonya (Carl) Lusk of Continental, her grandchildren; Michael (Shantel) Barnes of Defiance, Justin (Holly) Reinford of Pennsylvania, Tara (Roland) Ceballos of Cecil, OH, and Katrina Billingsly of Ottawa, OH, her great-grandchildren; Lillyann, Mason, and Luke Lane, Grayson, Ruby, and Aiden Billinsly, Joseph and Alexandria Barnes, and Adaline Woodruff, and her brother, Dick (Sue) Bruns.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Miller, her son, Jody Miller, and her brother, Raymond Bruns.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
