Charles W. "Chuck" Sisco, 76, of Defiance, passed away on  Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio. He was born on August 26, 1938 to Charles and Donelda (Andrist) Sisco in Defiance. In 1958 he married Janice (Johnson) Sisco, who lives in Defiance. Chuck a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Defiance, and served as an usher. He retired in 2004 from Defiance Metal Products, after 10 years of service. He worked at Jim Kennedy's Pager Service for 17 years, and he was a member of "Country Ramblers Band"  for 14 years. Chuck was an avid golfer, with 4 Hole-In-One trophies, and was an avid woodworker, donating many handcrafted items to charity auctions. Chuck is survived by his loving spouse, wife, Janice Sisco, son, Timothy (Trisha) Sisco, daughters, Sherry (Richard) Yeager, Jenny (Doug) Albert, and Susan (Scott Vielma) Harris, all of Defiance, 8 Grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and brother, James (Judy) Sisco of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Donelda Sisco, and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be held from  2:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, and one hour prior to services at the church. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Defiance, with Rev. David Brobston officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church, or CHP Defiance Area Hospice Center.
