Obituary

Chad M Wonderly, 41, of Sherwood, passed away on  May 26, 2022 at the Parkview Regional Hospital in Ft Wayne, Indiana from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on April 3, 1981 to Neil and Jill (Sheets) Wonderly in Bryan, Ohio.   He received his Associate Degree from Northwest State Community College. Chad worked in the  IT Department  for Lippert Corp in Payne, Ohio. He was very active member at the St. Isidore Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Chad  enjoyed gardening and canning his bounty.  He loved the beach and watching the sunsets.  He was an animal and nature lover.  He also loved his occupation in IT and working on computers. Chad is survived by his parents, Neil and Jill of Sherwood; his two sisters,  Lisa Wonderly of Defiance and  Lora (Christopher) Wonderly-Hoxsey of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the St. Isidore Catholic Church, Delaware-Bend with Fr. Melwin Dsouza, officiating. Chad's wishes were honored by becoming an organ donor.  Memorials are suggested to the St Isidore Church or to the Ft Defiance Humane Society.
