Carrie Ann "Sis" Hyre, age 38 of Gahanna, OH died suddenly on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her home. She was born in Defiance, OH to Francisco G. Vazquez and the late Dyna "Diane" L. Vazquez. Carrie is survived by her son, Joseph "Joey" Michael Hyre II; father, Francisco G. (Jane) Vazquez; sister, Kristina E. (Dave) Curl; sister-in-laws, Kristina M. Vazquez (Alan Csipke) and Brandee R. (John) Charters. She will be missed by her loving aunts and uncles on the Rivera and Dockery sides. Her surviving nieces Kyra C. Vazquez, Kayla E.J. Curl and nephews Christian G. Vazquez, Noah X. Vazquez, Abraham V. Csipke, Trent C.D. (Paula) Curl and Brandan C.J. (Courtney) Curl will all miss her hugs. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank G. Vazquez. Her proudest achievement was her son Joey. He was her pride and joy. She graduated from Defiance High School and received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Bradford School. Carrie had a heart of gold. She loved and cherished all her family dearly. She will be laid to rest next to her mother, Dyna "Diane" Vazquez in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, OH. There will be a graveside service for the family and friends of Carrie on March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio
