Carol J. McGue, 80, of Defiance, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in West Lebanon, Indiana on June 13, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Bernadine (Sellers) Wilson. Carol was an active member of Defiance Christian Church and she had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Parkview Nursing Center in Edgerton, OH retiring in 1999. She loved being in the Word of God and continued sharing Jesus to others around her until the end. Carol was a loyal mother, mother in law, wife, grandmother, sister, sister in law, neighbor and sister in Christ She married Bill McGue who died April 30, 1999. She will be missed by daughter: Vickie (Donald) Replogle of Defiance son: Rev. Matthew (Sara) McGue of Jackson, Mississippi. brother: John Wilson of Richmond, Calf. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Khristy McNany (Kirk Sholl) of Hicksville, Mikel McGue of Orlando, Florida, and Benjamin (Aubrey) McGue of Knoxville, Tn,: 5 great grandchildren: Brittanie Stork (Nick Sholl) of Harlen, In., Taylor Merz of Bryan, Oh, Dakota McNany of Bowling Green, Grayson McGue and Naomi McGue of Knoxville, Tn,; and 2 great great grandchildren Faith Sholl and Gavyn Sholl of Harlen, In. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Bill and brother Kenton Wilson. Visitation for Carol will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, December 17 at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lawson-Roessner, with Rev. Adam Metz officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
