Carmen T. Wagner Carmen T. Wagner, 61, of Defiance, passed away suddenly, Saturday, September 1st, 2018 in her home. She was born in Defiance, Ohio on June 3, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Carl J. and Donelda M. (Batt) Wagner. She was a 1975 graduate of Tinora High School. Carmen was employed at the Quadco Rehabilitation Center for many years. She was still working at Quadco Rehabilitation Center and was very proud of her work. While working, she met a dear friend Gary Smith and they remained friends until his death. Carmen was very independent and loved her small home where she lived with the help of her providers Tammy Grant and Lisa Wurster. She lived a simple life and loved her Catholic faith. Carmen enjoyed working in her yard and with her flowers. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Michael's Catholic Church. She will be missed by her sisters: Angela (Roger) Durham, Carol (Michael) Rieke, Karen (Christopher) Newton, Brenda (Everett "Ed") Dickerson, all of Defiance. Brothers: Robert C. (Linda) Wagner of Defiance, Wilbert "Will" (Pat) Wagner of Napoleon and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and niece and nephew Greg and Adele Parrish. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6th, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Visitation is Wednesday 3-8 p.m. and Thursday 9-10:30 a.m. at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance. A Rosary Service will be at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
