Carlos "Chuck" Cabrera Bernal II, 42, Troy, Michigan, died on Thursday, November, 22, 2018, at Mercy Hospital of Defiance. He was born on August 19, 1976, to Carlos C. Bernal Sr. and Beatrice Manzanarez Castenada in Defiance, Ohio. Chuck is survived by his daughter, Victoria of Troy, MI. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and grandparents.

A great man and a great father. A loving nephew. A caring cousin. To those who knew him best, he turned friendships into family. Chuck loved creating memories, especially for his daughter with whom he loved with all his heart and soul. He was always a ray of sunshine. Chuck will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, on Saturday, December 8, at 1 p.m. with a Deacon Mark Homier officiating. Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance is assisting the family.
