Carl E. Bartley Carl E. Bartley, 66, of Defiance, passed away Monday, April 9th, 2012 at his home. He was born in Pikeville, Ky. on April 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Jack and Faye (Branham) Bartley. Carl was the husband of Leona (Lively) Bartley. The were married Jan. 31, 1964. He worked at G.M. Central Foundry for over 25 years and retired in 1995. Carl will be sadly missed by his wife Leona, daughters: Sheila (Phillip) Thomas of Ostrander, Oh., Delilah Collins of Defiance, Tina (Rob) Kesler of Oakwood, Lisa Land of Oakwood, April Bartley of Delaware, Oh. sister: JoAnn Childres of Little Rock, Ark. brother: Johnnie Branham of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a younger sister: Betty Carline Bailey. His funeral service is at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13th, with Rev. Bobbie Branham and Rev. Robert Dean officiating.
