Calvin Leroy "Kojak" Love, 72, of Defiance, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Twin Rivers Care and Rehabilitation Center in Defiance.

He was born on February 2, 1944 to Calvin and Nellie (Keegan) Love in  Leavenworth, Kansas.  On July 24, 1987 he married Dottie (Elliott) Love, who resides in Defiance.

Calvin was a truck driver, and he owned Kojak's Mobile Home Service in Defiance. He liked watching go-kart racing, derbys, antiques, and flea markets, and he sold produce at farmers markets. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Calvin will be sadly missed by his loving  family; spouse of 29 years, Dottie Love of Defiance, daughters, Angela Harris of Rochester, Indiana, and Niki (Shane) Parsons of Fremont, Indiana, sons, Jameson Love of Arkansas, Caleb (Briana) Love, and  Quintin Love, all of Defiance, stepson, Ryan (Brittany) Howard of Milford, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie and Calvin Love.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.  Funeral services will  follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home.
