Bruce H. Ramsey, 69, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at The Laurel's of Defiance. He was born on April 19, 1953 to Robert and Margaret (Harris) Ramsey in Randolph County, Indiana . On December 10, 1992 he married the love of his life Le'Ann Barnett.

Bruce was a member of Ayersville United Methodist Church. He worked as a laborer for General Motors for 40 years and was a farmer his whole life. Bruce loved working with his hands. He loved to farm and working on his farm equipment. Bruce also loved being with his family and taking care of his cats. Bruce is survived by his loving spouse of 31 years Le'Ann Ramsey, of Defiance, his son, Ty Ramsey of Defiance, sisters, Kay (Les) Marcuson of Elwood, IN, and Lynne (David)  Durocher of Greenwood, IN, and grandchildren,  Barrett and Aryssa Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons  Bradley and Joshua Ramsey. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, 11:00 am at Ayersville United Methodist Church, Defiance, Ohio, with Pastor Maurice Dunn, officiating.
