Bruce Anthony Klingshirn, 57, of Defiance, passed away on  Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. He was born on January 17, 1958 to Donald and Pearl (Gustwiller) Klingshirn in Defiance. Bruce worked as a machinist at GT Technologies in Defiance. On July 26, 1991 he married Sherri (Hardy) Klingshirn, who resides in Defiance. He was a member and former president of UAW Local 211. Bruce loved fishing and hunting, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He lived his life to the fullest. Bruce is survived by his loving spouse of  24 years, Sherri Klingshirn, mother, Pearl Klingshirn of Hicksville, sons, Daniel Klingshirn of Napoleon, Quade Klingshirn of Defiance, daughters, Sarra (Cody) Flickinger of North Canton, Ohio, Cheyenne Klingshirn, Casey Klingshirn, and Sidney Klingshirn, all of Defiance, grandson, Edaevion Klingshirn, granddaughter, Layla Flickinger, brother, Brian Klingshirn of Holgate, sisters, Carol (Jim) Magoulas of Antwerp, and Connie Klingshirn of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Klingshirn, and brother, Barry "Bear" Klingshirn. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at the funeral home, with Rev. Alexander Magoulas officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family.
