Bonny  Peterson, 54, of Defiance, passed away on  Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Toledo Hospital.

She was born on September 16, 1959 to Luis and Myrta (Santiago) Ramirez in Youngstown, OH.   On July 28, 1985 she married Gerald L. Peterson, Jr. and he passed away on September 4, 2008.

Bonny worked in childcare for the Northwest Ohio Community Action Commission.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan Peterson of Indianapolis, IN, Gamaliel Peterson of Defiance, 1 grandchild, brothers, David & Sammy Gomez of FL, and Robert Gomez of Puerto Rico.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gerald L. Peterson, Jr..

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Perez officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
