Bonnie L. (Fidler) Brewer passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born in Defiance, Ohio on September 3, 1957 to the late John R. and Elizabeth (Grimm) Fidler. She was one of the first triplets born in Defiance. In 1978 she married Mark A. "Pete" Weisgerber, who passed away in 2005. On July 13, 2007 she married Terry L. Brewer, who survives.

Bonnie worked various jobs in retail which created alot of friends. She was known as the lady with the smile and a kind voice. Bonnie was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and was a life member of the Defiance AmVets Post #1991. She enjoyed boating with her first husband and camping with Terry.

Bonnie loved life. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is truly missed by her dogs, Lizzie and Sam, and her cat, Sassy.

She is survived by her husband Terry, sisters, Connie Seglem and Tammy Clellan, her children, Lilly (Jason) Anspach of Ft. Wayne, IN, Daniel Weisgerber of Rhode Island, Timothy Weisgerber of Defiance, LanDe (Gregg) Lantow of Cape Coral, FL, Marcie (Curt) Eberle of Convoy, OH, and Jon (McKensey) Brewer of Venedocia, OH, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, triplet brother Johnnie Fidler, sister Cindy Elberson, niece Mendie Elberson, and nephew Christopher Elberson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, April 3rd at the funeral home, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
